Installation 

The installation went really well and looked exactly how i planned it which was really pleasing to see. I used a video made in imovie for the sound element and some added visual this was not the central focus of the installation more like an aid or extra stimulant and guide/ link between the bowls and the images. The first bowl contained, rocks, wood, shells, roots and a hand made clay rock. Some of these images had been carved into or changed to relate them back to the theme and focus the whole concept of self discovery and exploration with the help of the senses to find one's true self, knowledge and focus. If the objects where removed and pulled out of the bowls an image of me underwater obstructed from view by bubbles would be revealed. The second bowl contained petals, rose-water and tiny bit of red colouring. Petals were a symbol of a liminal object as they are not dead or alive... if these were pushed though the water the image at the bottom revealed me nearly emerging from the water but still some obstructions to the face. And the final bowl showed just me fully exposed and eyes open free form obstructions just the clear water covering the image (no objects in bowl) The connection between the images and the bowls was established between the symbolism and link of key objects. In the first image show the faint hands with clutching the pearl. This shows that as you pull the objects out of the bowl it is still gaining and exploration even though the goal? is not reached just because the clear image is not revealed it is like in a way saying the these experiences are knowledge and make up that part of me and this is represented thought the symbol of the pearl. The pearl is show again in the next surreal image which also questions what is reality. The final image is how the element and self combined and the senses aid.

but yeah i am really happy with how this installation turned out and I'm please with my work and my preserving in this, by actually doing what i wanted and pushing my self. As some may not know i can be quite a shy person and not willing to back myself in what i do. Im pleased on an emotional and personal level with this installation also as i went with what i thought and wanted to express (im odd... i know)
