Experimental Piece:

 

Using charcoal, ink, pastel, gesso, white chalk, graphite, marker

This was a portrait incorporating taste.

We got given a sour worm, a peppermint and a wasabi pea.

The line work in the piece represents each of these flavours.

I think i should have maybe done some more defining lines of the hair as they blend in a little with the background.

I do like though how the lines are fresh, but i still need some work on proportion but i think that having more time to do a piece would help and then having a balanced composition more accomplishable .
